3 Tips on Optimizing Your Facebook Fan Page for the Search Engines

If you want your Facebook page to get as many fans as possible, it’s going to require you to do a little work first. While all the others are busy buying ads on Facebook to promote their fan page, you can a step ahead of them and drive traffic through the search engines for free. That’s right; optimizing your fan page for the search engines is the smartest thing that you can do.

It doesn’t even take much effort to do so, all you need to do is keep a few things in mind, that’s all. Use the following three SEO tips to get more traffic and more fans to your page so that you can beat the competition and finally succeed.

The first thing that you need to remember when creating your fan page is to focus on getting a name for your page that’s actually your brand name. To put it another way, you need to make sure you have the absolutely best name for your Facebook page. You should opt for a name that goes with what business you’re in and also what you plan to do. This is why you should always just go with your brand name so that you don’t have a lot of generic keywords and phrases in your name, which most people will look at as someone who is trying to scam other people.

Another thing that you need to keep in mind when picking your fan page name is to not change it often. The name of your Facebook page should always be kept the same because Google uses it to place it in the search engines and changing it can ruin that placement. This happens because Google uses the titles of pages to determine what that content is about and places it accordingly, and if you change anything you are going to find your page starting all over from square one. Add fresh new content on a regular basis that is unique to your fan page. Today, wall posts, status updates, and other types of posts show up in a search. What this means is that ever single time you add new content it will be posted to your wall and increase the odds of your page being found in Facebook searches. Don’t just rely on targeted keywords but open up and include a few generic ones in order to reach a much wider audience through Facebook searches.

Don’t look beyond the power of offering your audience a reward for joining your fan page following. It’s important to make sure that the reward is attractive so that people will want to follow your fan page in order to get it. Doing this will not only multiple traffic through search engines but will also reach a much broader group of people. It also allows you to get your brand in front of a large audience easily.

In summary, once you have effectively optimized your page for the search engines, you will realize that it is not all that challenging and that it will not take much time to see results start pouring in. It is also very important to remember that properly optimizing your Facebook fan page is just one way to get the success you want. You need to keep putting in this same effort to get more search engine traffic by working on your SEO. Even though there are lots of factors that go into making sure your fan page is successful, it is how you use this traffic and use it for future successes that really matters to your business.

If your Looking for Guaranteed Website Traffic - Buy It

Assuming you're hunting for the best tactic to boost sales conversions and get guaranteed website traffic to the website, you should contemplate "paying" for your traffic. Paying out to get guaranteed website traffic allows you to quickly test and tweak the web site.

The sooner you hit upon the highest converting product sales materials, the earlier you will begin creating reliable money. The ability to get guaranteed website traffic and generate sales momentum is the key.
Some of us believe that achieving on line successes is sheer luck. But that isn't it by any means! It calls for a respectable feeling for your market, plus loads of labor.

The core idea to concentrate the business on is getting guaranteed website traffic "momentum". Lacking traffic, you'll not have anyone to sell your product or service to. The more visitor momentum you have got, the more traffic will stumble across your web site then make a purchase.

Phone books as well as printed newspapers all over the world tend to be fighting for survival currently because internet search browsers have rapidly turned out to be a "go to" fund of instruction - regardless what product or service somebody is looking to get.

Internet search engines deliver millions of users with knowledge every day. Search browsers are able to provide site links to sites that can solve the searchers problem. If your links come up, and if you can supply the resolution to the searchers problem, you've gotten a major opportunity to make a sale.

Investing in visitors is very much similar to purchasing traffic momentum. At first it might sound like it is a terrible strategy, but the potential profits are too vast to turn your back on. If you're able to increase website hits from search engines, and obtain a lot of guaranteed website traffic...you will begin making sales conversions on daily basis.

Once a key phrase is searched for, you'll get charged for each instance where the links get clicked. That's called "pay per click (PPC)". With other quick traffic options, you will get billed per number of times the ad is shown; this is referred to as "cost per thousand."

Making your bids on the best keyword phrases is critical; or else, you might not get any lucrative, acceptably targeted hits. Take the effort to research the marketplace and ascertain what keywords the "buyers" use to find the answers to their difficulties. Using this method you'll be receiving "targeted" traffic. The best type!

The money you use as part of the quest for quick traffic will produce a positive result... You will acquire a massive influx of visitors to your web site, that WILL end up in many more sales conversions. Paying to get the traffic is a good idea. The only bad side would be that you'll want to definitely keep a strict control of the expenditures. Fine-tune your ad until it's profitably working before you commit to a big budget.

As a result of having to pay for your web traffic, you are making sure that you get guaranteed website traffic and a lot of momentum. You'll obtain bunches of quick traffic that has been looking explicitly for what your site is offering.

However, if cash is tight, there's bunches of sources to get guaranteed website traffic that are free! Check into them too!

Building Good Relationships With Your Customers

For any business to operate and expand, the business owner must have facilities and the methods or techniques of efficient operation. Although all these elements are present to a satisfactory degree, success is still unsure unless one of its elements, which is the "customer", is present. This element is necessary for the business to grow and the salesman or dealer must continually be working on for the penetration of the available market.

Since business is dependent upon customers for profit and continued growth and expansion, it is evident that relationships with customers are vitally important to the success of your business. Today, business owners should be gravely concerned with this problem. Competition is very tight nowadays. Many similar businesses are overwhelming the market. This is happening in many similar businesses such as printing greeting cards, business cards printing, custom greeting card printing, boutiques, salon, health and beauty shops and the likes.
With this competition among businesses, you need to know some techniques on how to improve your relationships with your customers. Here is how:

Improve your understanding of human behavior. Since all the people in your business in one way or another have contact with customers, it is important to teach them to recognize individual differences. There is a need to understand the principles of frustration and emotional involvement so that irritation and conflict can be avoided.

Show sincere interest in the customer and his problem. This technique is one that can be practiced even by the inexperienced. Common courtesy demands that such people be treated with respect. In handling each individual, it is important that this interest in the customers should not be based on the profit to be obtained from him or her. For instance, someone would like to return the greeting cards he bought at your printing shop due to some changes in the design or have something to add in it. Show interest and courteously ask what he would like you do with the greeting cards.

Deal appropriately with the unsatisfied customer. Where there is customer dissatisfaction, it is necessary to find out the cause such as careless work, defective parts, or unforeseen difficulties arising from some type of faulty adjustment. It is necessary to make an adjustment satisfactory to the customer. On the other hand, if the investigation shows that the fault lies with the customer, someone must take time out to tactfully and courteously explain the facts concerning the case. Such instances will be helpful in making it clear that the store owner or the dealer has interest in the client as an individual, and offering him all possible help.
People are basically honest, and when facts are brought out into the open and misunderstanding is clarified, most people are reasonable, and they settle things by making a compromise satisfactory to both parties concerned.

Maintain personal contacts through follow-up. Some follow-up service is not only desirable in maintaining customer relations; it can be a source of profit for an organization.

Arrange extra special services. Still another way to improve customer relationships is to provide, whenever possible, special services, adequate warranty periods, and appropriate waiting room facilities in the service shop. Even a small service such as operating tips or certain economic measures will be appreciated by most customers and help build favorable attitudes toward the organization.

Lastly, make practical use of human relations and principles. A final technique of improving customer relations is to have the personnel sharpen up their practice of sound human relations. An aid to this might be the compiling of a list of some human relations practices especially appropriate to the improvement of relationships with your customers.

Converting Social Media Traffic into Sales

Social media is the latest breakthrough in technology to come along since the Internet first took off in popularity during the latter part of the 1990's. In the last 5 years, sites such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and Digg, have rapidly advanced the way individuals connect to one another and network in a variety of different relationship types. Some people use it to build their network of social alliances. Some people use these services for dating. Still others see the full business potential of the platforms and do their best to find connections in and related to their niche so they may further grow customer base and potential revenue streams. As an online business professional, you want to harness the power of social media to up sales and grow your business in the new millennium.

Social media is perhaps the best way of building client and customer lists and keeping them apprised of specials on products and services. Many online businesses prefer to use the power of social media to make special offers, but the tactic is not confined solely to the World Wide Web. Many brick and mortar businesses have started to realize the power of the social media marketplace in expanding sales beyond what is offered in a store. It is easy for followers of a pizzeria's Facebook page to find out about one-day specials and deep discounts for certain menu items. Without paying for the cost of an advertising spot, a restaurant or other business can run specials for those who follow their page and reap benefits with zero overhead in ad expenses.

Other than making offers online, businesses can get a good idea of the customers that are keeping them in business. They can develop more advanced marketing plans based on certain attributes and demographics that a basic email list simply doesn't have. When a person chooses to follow a business's social media profile, he or she willingly grants access to likes and interests that a business can then use in crafting promotions which might better convert sales from existing customers. Protecting a customer's privacy, however, must still be a top priority, so no matter what business you are in, you should never sell information you've compiled to other parties without the customers consent.

When you get ready to take your business to the next level, whether you do most of your business online or in the "real world," making wise use of social media is vital to growth and success. Resistance to changes in technology sets one up for failure in the economy of the 21st Century. And with all the cost efficient advantages that social media outlets provide, it pays to be proactive in learning the new tools of an old trade.

How To Increase Website Traffic With Forum Marketing

by Ian J Purdie

If you are a person who is serious about making money online then you need to make forum marketing an essential and regular part of your marketing efforts. It doesn't matter what market niche you are operating in, you need to take advantage of any forums that are available in your niche. A Google search using ("forums: your niche description") will soon give you plenty to choose from. As your forum skills develop so your website traffic will increase.

So why is it so important to be involved in forum marketing?

The answers to that questions are quite varied because forums offer a range of different services and opportunities. Probably the best way to summarize is:
  • forums are a great information resource
  • forums provide an opportunity for you to market your product or service, albeit in a fairly subtle way.
  • forums are a great source of back-links to your website
  • forums provide you with great contacts with other marketers
  • forums give you the opportunity to build your credibility and expertise.
  • Forum participation leads to an increase in website traffic
So what does it take to be successful with forum marketing?
Despite forums offering so many advantages, as outlined above, they are areas where you need to exercise a great deal of care and caution in how you conduct yourself. Failure to do so will mean loss of credibility and even barring from the forum. However, if you follow the rules and exercise common sense, then forums can be an enormous asset to your marketing efforts.
Your success is going to revolve around the following areas:
  • Be very active - it is no use logging in once a fortnight and thinking that you are going to achieve anything worthwhile. You need to be there at least two or three times a week, even daily. Post frequently, but not excessively. And remember - when you post and add your signature you are getting a back-link to your site. Over time, these back-links will lead to an increase in website traffic.
  • Offer value - it is no use making trite comments because you are only thinking about getting your signature noticed. The best way is to offer value in any discussion thread in which you choose to participate. Once other members see that you have something to offer then they will notice your signature and probably check you out by visiting your site - and that increase in website traffic is what you want!
  • Follow the forum rules carefully. Forums will have different rules and it is important to observe them. For example, some forums may allow promotion of your product directly - most don't: except through your signature link. In some forums you cannot even put in your signature link until you have posted a certain number of times.
  • Be courteous at all times. Avoid being caught up in any personal disputes and never engage in abusive or derogatory behaviour towards other members. Forum members are a cross-section of society and as such will have differing points of view and different sets of values. So... let courtesy and tolerance be your watchwords.
  • Concentrate on building your perceived expertise. The best way to do this is to follow carefully the various discussion threads and to hone in on those that are closest to your particular field of knowledge and expertise. This gives the opportunity to offer a comment, even a solution, to a problem that others may be having. This will enhance your credibility and people will, slowly but surely, perceive you as an expert in your field. In turn, you will receive an increase in website traffic. The golden rule is listen first and contribute later.
Follow the principles outlined and you will achieve success. Forum marketing will lead to an increase in the flow of business to your products or services.

The EASIEST Way To Get multiple streams of FREE Traffic? Do THIS At Least Once a Day for a Month

by Alexa Ross

This not only works, it works AMAZINGLY well, and if you do enough of it, and once you have enough of it out there in the "wild" it begins to work on automatic AUTOPILOT, too..:-)

I'm referring to, of course... article marketing.

CRUSHING it with your content.

And it absolutely ASTOUNDS me how many self professed SEO or traffic "guru's" don't understand the perpetual POWER that creating copious amounts of killer content can create for your BRAND....and your business.

Here is a fact that I will attest to everyday and twice on Sunday....even as I write this in 2011:

I tried a whole slew of different online marketing strategies, and some of them I still use on profitable projects, quite successfully.

1. PPC
2. Automated blog building
3. Data feeds
4. Social Media Marketing

And so on......

And I can tell you, without any equivocation, that even in 2011, the HIGHEST and best ROI I get from my traffic is from the articles I write.....PERIOD.

I still get traffic, (and SALES) from content I created years ago....when I first started this amazing adventure into the wild and wooly world of online marketing madness..:-)

You'll NEVER get sales from PPC ads you ran in 2008......or "tweets" you sent out a year ago, etc.

As a matter of fact, even today.....I start EVERY day off by creating content, just like this, in a bunch of different niches, just because I'm addicted to FREE traffic that really DOES convert like crazy.

And if you are serious about YOUR business this year, you'll do the same thing.....starting today.
